Even if not all elves get a federal break, Christmas Eve magic fills homes and hearts - holidays or not! 

Make your own merriment! Volunteer, bake cookies, sing carols - create your own Christmas Eve celebration, federal or not. 

Did you know? Presidents Lincoln and Grant actually declared Christmas Eve a federal holiday during the Civil War!
